Winchester District Social Inclusion Partnership

Inclusive Society SOG

Inclusive Society SOG

This group brings together people from statutory and voluntary agencies working in the Winchester district with a focus on developing an inclusive society in which every resident, especially the young and the elderly, the vulnerable and the marginalized, has a sense of belonging.

Operating as a sub-group of the Winchester District Strategic Partnership, its main aims are:
• to make recommendations to the WDSP on strategic issues relating to social inclusion
• to identify the gaps in the Community Strategy and service provision, and
• to co-ordinate the implementation of steps to address social inclusion.

The SOG is chaired by Beth Taylor, who represents the faith sector on the Winchester District Strategic Partnership, and supported by Winchester Area Community Action.
