Executive Group

What is the Executive Group for?

The Executive Group is a small group of partners who meet to support partners and to make sure that the delivery of the Community Strategy is on track. 

Their main tasks are to:

• Receive national guidance and regional strategies/policies (e.g. Regional Economic Strategy, the South East Plan etc) and interpret/set in context for Winchester District
• Monitor indicators identified by Strategic Outcome Groups as problem/worrying indicators
• Keep an overview of the Local Area Agreement process, and governance issues.
• Take decisions/actions where necessary to resolve issues identified by Strategic Outcome Groups in the course of their work.
  

Who sits on the Executive Group?

The Executive Group is made up of:

• Cllr George Beckett (Economic Prosperity Strategic Outcome Group and Leader of Winchester City Council)
• Chief Inspector Steve France-Sargeant (Freedom from Fear Strategic Outcome Group and Chief Inspector for the Winchester District)
• Diana Wooldridge (Inclusive Society Strategic Outcome Group and Chief Executive, WACA)
• Christine Jackson (Health and Wellbeing Strategic Outcome Group and Area Director of Public Health)
