Full Board
What does the Full Board do?
The work of the WDSP in delivering the Winchester District Community Strategy is overseen by the Full Board. The Board meets once a year and has the following terms of reference:
- To share experiences and ensure a full overview of progress towards the vision of the Community Strategy
- To update the Community Strategy in line with changes in policy/legislative framework and other changing circumstances
- To fulfil the role of overall accountable body for the activities of the LSP
- To resolve problems affecting partnership working in the District e.g. resourcing issues, differing priorities, conflicts in policy which affect the sustainability of the District etc where these affect more than one Community Strategy outcome
- To link with the LAA governance arrangements
Who sits on the Full Board
The Full Board consists of people representing all different sectors and organisations in the District, who are all working in partnership. This includes:
- All partnership chairs and members of the Strategic Outcome Groups
- Representatives from Winchester City Council and Hampshire County Council
- Representatives from the Winchester District parishes and Winchester Town Forum
