Executive Group

What is the Executive Group for?

The Executive Group is a small group of partners involved in the WDSP who meet to support partners and to make sure that the delivery of our Community Strategy is on track.

Their main tasks are to:

• Receive national guidance and regional strategies/policies (e.g. Regional Economic Strategy, the South East Plan etc) and interpret or set in context for the Winchester District
• Monitor indicators identified by the WDSP’s Groups as problem/worrying indicators
• Keep an overview of the Local Area Agreement process, and governance issues
• Take decisions or actions where necessary to resolve issues identified by the WDSP’s Groups in the course of their work.
