Neighbourhood Forums
Across the Winchester District community representatives and members of the public can influence police and partnership work within their local area. See below to find out about the neighbourhood forums that are in your area and how you can get involved.
Partnership and Communities Together (PACTs)
Meetings are held on a quarterly basis to set local policing priorities for the following quarter. They are public meeting and are co-ordinated by the local Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team. PACTs have been established in the following areas:
- Shedfield and Swanmore
- Colden Common and Twyford
- Bishops Waltham, Curdridge and Durley
- Stanmore, Badger Farm, Olivers Battery and St Cross
- Otterbourne, Hursley, Compton and Shawford
- Winnall, Abbotts Barton and Highcliffe
Safer Neighbourhood Panels
Representatives from Parish Councils and community representatives attend quarterly meetings to discuss their community safety related matters and to gain updates from the Community Safety Partnership on the work they have undertaken. Safer Neighbourhood Panels are set up covering the following areas:
- Denmead and Hambledon
- Wickham, Knowle, Boarhunt, Soberton Heath and Newtown
- Winchester Town Centre

Beat Surgeries
Safer Neighbourhood Policing Teams hold regular beat surgeries across the district. This is an opportunity to meet your local safer neighbourhood team and discuss any issues you have which may affect policing priorities and how the police resource your area.

Members of Safer Neighbourhood Policing Teams attend Parish Council meetings at least quarterly to provide updates and discuss community safety related issues at a local level.
Resident groups
There are number groups at a street and community level for residents to get involved in. These include:

- Tenant & Resident Associations
- Winchester City Council Tenants and Council Together (TACT)
