Strategic Assessment
All Community Safety Partnership’s (CSP) have a statutory duty to produce an annual Strategic Assessment report about local crime and disorder issues. The results of the Strategic Assessment are used by the Partnership to identify themed priorities for the coming year.

September 2011
WCSP Strategic Group signed off the priorities for 2011-12 at their meeting on 5 September 2011. The Strategic Assessment 2011 document identifies the current and emerging crime and disorder priorities which have been adopted for the remainder of this financial year. These are:
- Tackle ASB with a focus on vulnerable victims, alcohol and drugs related ASB
- Reduce Violence with injury offences with a focus on the night time economy (NTE) and domestic violence
- Reduce re-offending and first time entrants (FTE) to the youth justice system (YJS)
