Current CSP Strategy

Each year the Community Safety Partnership undertakes a Strategic Assessment of Crime & Disorder across the Winchester District. The Strategic Assessment informs a delivery plan which underpins the actions related to current priorities.

Listed below are this year's priority themes:

  • Tackle ASB with a focus on vulnerable victims, alcohol and drugs related ASB
  • Reduce Violence with injury offences with a focus on the night time economy (NTE) and domestic violence
  • Reduce re-offending and first time entrants (FTE) to the youth justice system (YJS)

The delivery plan and results of the Strategic Assessment are available as downloadable documents from this page.

Performance

The Government's focus is based on empowering communities to deal with low levels of crime and disorder at a local level. As a result local authorities should be providing transparent information to local people rather then reporting up to Government departments.

Winchester Community Safety Partnership endeavours to provide the public with information about current priorities that informs them how we are tackling priority concerns as an update on the partnership delivery plan. Updates will be provided on a quarterly basis and are available as downloadable documents from this page.
