Winchester District Community Safety Partnership

Funding

In support of local crime and disorder reduction initiaitves, the Community Safety Partnership bids for Government funding on an annual basis.

For the financial year 2008/09 the Winchester Community Safety Partnership has been awarded a total of £92,585. The funding has been allocated to a variety of organisations and voluntary groups in support of their delivery of the community safety priority targets. 

The Community Safety Partnership has supported a number of organisations in this financial year. Listed below is an example of some of the funding allocation for 2008/09:

  • Providing Domestic Violence support
  • Preventing Youth Offending and re-offending
  • Tackling Anti-Social Behaviour
  • Road Traffic Collisions - Education
  • Tackling Priority Crimes - burglary, car crime, violence, criminal damage
  • Tackling Priority and Prolific Offenders
  • Providing Research and analytical support to the CSP
