Funding

In support of local crime and disorder reduction initiatives, the Community Safety Partnership receives, on an annual basis, funding passported from Hampshire County Council in the form of Area Based Grant. This funding is given direct to the County Council by Central Government and to date has been passported to districts and boroughs as commissioned funding. The funding is used by the CSP to deliver on local and national priorities identified by the annual Strategic Assessment.

The County Council has passported the following grant funding to the Partnership to enable the delivery of local action. Listed below is a breakdown of the grant funding received for 2011/12.

• £14,600 from Area Based Grant.
