Anti Social Behaviour Minimum Standards
In response to the Home Secretary’s announcement the Winchester Community Safety Partnership (WCSP) launched our Anti Social Behaviour (ASB) Minimum Standards document on 31st March 2010. This document demonstrates the WCSP commitment to delivering on six standards in relation to tackling complaints of anti social behaviour.
In 2008 WCSP achieved better than the national average with only 9.9% of those asked stating that they felt anti social behaviour was a problem where they live. These standards create a foundation for the WCSP to build on the work that is already being undertaken and will assist in maintaining this positive result.
The ASB minimum standard is not just about the partnership tackling ASB but also an opportunity to let members of the public know how they can influence the work of the partnership and learn more about how we are addressing problems in their area.

Anti Social Behaviour Policy
To assist the WCSP in delivering on these standards the partnership has put in place an anti social behaviour policy. Winchester Anti Social Behaviour Policy is a working guide for practitioners who are investigating cases of anti social behaviour within the Winchester District. The policy is reviewed and updated in line with changes in legislation and best practice.
