Statutory Duty

In 1998 the Government placed a statutory duty on 5 responsible authorities to establish a partnership which aimed to reduce crime and disorder at a local level. However since its inception the Home Office has undertaken a number of reviews which has increased the number of responsible authorities and statutory duties..

Domestic Homicide Reviews

Domestic Homicide Reviews were established on a statutory basis and came into force on 13th April 2011 as part of section 9 of the Domestic Violence Crime and Victims Act 2004.

Pan Hampshire discussions have taken place and are ongoing about the process and management of undertaking a Domestic Homicide Reviews should they be required.
