Winchester District Cultural Consortium

Welcome to the website of  the Winchester District Cultural Consortium.

The Consortium represents the culture sector on the Winchester District Strategic Partnership. 

The Cultural Consortium's aims are to: 

• ensure that creativity, culture and leisure play their part in shaping the future of the Winchester District;
• champion projects which enhance Winchester’s reputation as a centre for creativity, the creative industries, culture and learning;
• advise the WDSP on current issues of importance to the sector;
• provide advocacy for the sector to ensure that creativity and culture play a full role in local development opportunities;
• draft the cultural chapter in the Community Strategy for the Winchester District;
• provide opportunities for networking and collaboration across the sector.
