Recognised by Sport England as an example of good practice.
In 2007 Sport England gathered good practice information from a sample of Community Sports Networks (CSN's) in the South East Region. The Winchester District Sport and Physical Activity Alliance was identified and recognised as an example of good practice for the way it has consistently brokered productive partnerships since its establishment and for the way it has effectively communicated the work of the allliance through the SPAA brand and and SPAA website.
