Indicators and Data
Per capita reduction in CO2 emissions in the District (NI 186)
National Indicator 186 measures the per capita reduction in CO2 emissions in the area, and uses statistics generated nationally. Currently, comparable statistics on CO2 emissions are available for 2005 (8.9 tonnes), 2006 (8.6 tonnes) and 2007 (8.4 tonnes). The NI186 reduction was therefore 3.4% in 2006 and 2.3% in 2007. Further details on these statistics, graphs and the comparison with the District targets is available to download on the left.
