Saturday Night Football

On Saturday 28th April Winchester District Sport and Physical Activity Alliance in association with Winchester City Council's Neighbourhood Wardens service are hosting an evening of 5-a-side football at River Park Leisure Centre.

The evening which will run from 7 - 9pm is aimed at 13 - 17 year olds who have nothing better to do on a Saturday evening and will engage young people in exercise while helping to reduce some of the anti-social behaviour problems associated with bored teenagers.

Funding to support this trial project has been made available through the newly established Winchester District Sport and Physical Activity Alliance. If the trial is successful the alliance will be looking to run further sessions.
