Winchester District Sport and Physical Activity Alliance

Sport and Physical Activity Strategy

The Sport and Physical Activity Strategy sets out a vision for the future of the Winchester district over the next 6 years. It also sets out how we will measure our progress towards this future, and draws out where people think action is needed.

The strategy consist of three objectives:

  1. Increase the number of people who are physically active
  2. Increase the number of sports coaches, officials and volunteers
  3. Improve access to high quality sport and recreation facilities

The Sport and Physical Activity Strategy has been drawn up using the Outcomes Based Accountability methodology (also known as Results Based Accountability).
