Local Public Service Agreements (LPSA's)
A Local Public Service Agreement (LPSA) is a voluntary agreement negotiated between a local authority and the Government. The overall aim of LPSAs is to improve the delivery of local public services by focusing on targeted outcomes with support from Government.
There are 16 Hampshire LAA targets, 3 of which are relevant to achieving the outcomes of the Sport and Physical Activity Strategy.
These targets are:
- Increased number of adults adopting a healthier lifestyle
- Improving the health of children under 11 by reducing overweight and obesity over 5 years)
- Increased number and extent of people participating in local voluntary and community activities
