About this deal

You guys were so fab and Dawn was such a lovely presence in the schools - I will absolutely be in touch next time I'm in your neck of the woods. In Book 6 of the marvellous Adventures on Trains series, Hal and his uncle Nate have another mystery to solve.

Ignoring the fact that it should have been introduces way earlier in the series, we find out Uncle Nat has a partner? This sixth instalment is another whistle-stop ride through snowy landscapes - perfect for the wintry season.Your selection was perfect for our children and what really made the difference was your ability to engage with each child, discuss their interests and help them to choose a suitable book based on your extensive knowledge of the books you were selling.

The illustrations are gorgeous and there is so much action you can just fly through these so quickly. My 10 year old recently got a children's Kindle with Kids+ Unlimited free for a year and the Adventures on Trains series was included - apart from this book. The sixth and I think final installment of the Adventures on Trains series sees Hal and his uncle Nat on a train to the Arctic circle, the problem being there is also an assassin aboard!

She spent her early career in the music industry running Setanta Records, an independent record label, and managing bands, most notably The Divine Comedy. Thank you Macmillan Publishers and Netgalley for letting me read this early in exchange for a review! The characters on the train are all interesting and well worth being the focus of Hal's artistic skills. I loved how much their arrival let the book show how much Hal has grown in confidence since < a href = https://sifaelizabethreads. As usual, I won't post any spoilers, though I will say it was a brilliant read, with twists and turns all through the journey.A thrilling and hugely entertaining adventure story' – David Walliams on The Highland Falcon Thief, the first journey in the series. Hal's talent for observation and art again helps them to solve the mystery of where and what the item is that the assassins are after. Sam Sedgman is the bestselling author of 'The Highland Falcon Thief' and 'Kidnap on the California Comet', part of the 'Adventures on Trains' series for younger readers, written with his friend M. I do think this has become my new favourite though, there is real suspense and peril and the action builds throughout.
