About this deal

I get a nosebleed going to Oxford but I’ve learned that clears up quite quickly and it doesn’t happen again. The only problem is when I’m on a tractor and reading a book and I’m being loaded, for example, and the loader drivers beep at me because I’m not moving anywhere. I was writing this second book and I thought, I’m missing out on some of the most amazing places such as Scotland and Wales. To reinforce the piss-take, this children’s-book-for-adults is illustrated with random photographs and illustrations with clever captions that one suspects are contributed by the bright young things at his publisher, especially the ones in Latin.

I love farming, but as in 'watching it from my sofa under a blanket', so hearing about how hard he's worked and what he's acheived already is astonishing. Chipping Norton's celebrity farmer Kaleb Cooper has strong views on lots of things: sheep ('stupid'), Jeremy Clarkson ('f***ing idiot'), goats ('they're a proper good clear-up animal, they eat everything - no wonder they taste horrible'), New York ('if it's like London, where there are no tractors, that's no good') and more. The books featured on this site are aimed primarily at readers aged 13 or above and therefore you must be 13 years or over to sign up to our newsletter. Dubbed ‘the real star of Clarkson’s Farm‘, Kaleb reveals his true, loveable, funny and down-to-earth self, with deadpan gags and unique observations that will have you crying with laughter. Cooper’s second book, Britain According To Kaleb: The Wonderful World of Country Life, explores some of the weirdest traditions from around Britain – including cheese rolling in Gloucestershire and the wife-carrying race from Surrey.Utterly hilarious, Kaleb reveals his true down-to-earth, loveable and funny side, with gags aplenty and many unique observations you will be crying with laughter. Kaleb Cooper, the breakout star from ‘Clarkson’s Farm’ (aka the one who did the actual farming) discusses all angles of life, from cities to sports; celebrities to parties. I thought, I can make a business out of this, and I sold the chicken eggs and paid back my food costs, and paid myself a wage, and that’s how I started. He has “zero interest in any drug that isn’t cider” and while others of his generation are gluing themselves to pavements and moaning about the debts they have accrued in acquiring their ’ology degrees, Kaleb has quietly been eschewing academe to pursue the British rural dream, and make a fortune in the process.

This book is an enjoyable romp through the countryside, as seen through the eyes of a country boy, laying bare all the good and bad moments of life. He is generous in his acknowledgement of the mentors who have helped him on his way – the farmer who paid for expensive repairs to Kaleb’s first tractor to avoid disaster, and most recently to Jeremy Clarkson, who has turned him into a star. In this follow-up, Kaleb casts his focus closer to home to examine what people like to get up to in the great outdoors. The best chapters are on farming, where his passion shines alongside a reliably authentic aversion to Countryfile, gallows humour about the dangers of farm work (he had three ribs broken by a bull) and perceptive observations about farm animals and their quirks. Dubbed ‘the real star of Clarkson’s Farm’, Kaleb reveals his true, loveable, funny and down-to-earth self, with deadpan gags and unique observations that will have you crying with laughter. Kaleb was 13 years old when he got his first job in farming and, believe it or not, it was dairy which was his first love. We caught up with Kaleb to find out more about the book, his upcoming tour, and his thoughts on the challenges facing farmers.

Normally the farmer will be working, so have a conversation while helping them and show that you can do the job and that you are willing to learn. He went on study at Moreton Morrell College and then he set a farm labour contracting firm which was managing the farm that Jeremy bought. Kaleb’s personality shines through so if you’re a fan of him on Clarkson’s Farm then you’ll enjoy this. Contrived and repetitive it states over and over what not to do in life because Kaleb hasn’t done it.I’ve learned a lot from him about television as well, and what better man to learn from about starting in that industry. Biography: Kaleb Cooper is a farming contractor from Oxfordshire in the UK who plays a central advisory role to Jeremy Clarkson in the Prime Video series Clarkson's Farm, the second season of which will air in early 2023. Kaleb speaks on a wide variety of topics concerning his expertise as a farmer and his newfound experience as a celebrity.

Getting into farming… it was really hard and I was very lucky to have that one farmer go yeah, do you want a job? I may be white trainer kind of guy, but his excitement made me want to hop on a tractor and head out to the farm. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item.

In his smash-hit debut The World According to Kaleb, we learnt how Kaleb feels about everything from existentialism to comb-overs, and why he doesn’t want to visit the Mediterranean. The book (which is evidently ghost-written) plays endlessly on this portrayal, delivering Kaleb's views on a riveting range of topics from philosophy to celebrities to haircuts. Can spot the difference when he actually talks about farming as the word count increases, versus something he's looked up to bulk out a chapter. I sat looking at all these different places and thought, I’m missing out on some of the most amazing places in Britain.
