About this deal

Users rave about the consistent high-quality coffee they are able to make with the Oracle Touch and find the touch screen settings easy and intuitive.

The milk steaming features are truly café grade, as they often are with Sage’s newer espresso machines. It’s little things like this that cause you to think twice before spending thousands on a machine promising to make your day easier. When I first got my Sage Oracle Touch, I found the setup process relatively straightforward. If you're considering getting one yourself, here's an overview of the processes I followed to get my machine up and running. Before using any new machine, cleaning the washable parts and accessories is always a good idea. So, I rinsed them thoroughly in warm water with some dishwashing liquid. Once they were clean, I patted them dry and reassembled the machine. My journey with this machine has been exciting and insightful. And I'm eager to share my experiences with you, highlighting the ups and downs of using the Sage Oracle Touch. While the automated features are great for fuss-free coffee, you can also switch them off if you’d like to take time to brush up on your coffee-making skills.

The Oracle Touch is a heavy-hitting bean-to-cup machine for those who want top-tier coffee without fussing over the intricacies of coffee making. Another great feature of the Sage Barista Touch is its purge function, which makes cleaning and maintenance easy. For those who know their way around a coffee machine, Sage Oracle Touch's automated grinding, tamping, and milk frothing make it easy to create consistently excellent espresso shots and milk-based drinks without requiring advanced barista skills. You can adjust the milk temperature in 1°F increments over 9 foam levels; choose between 45 grind settings; change the adjustable coffee temperature in 1°F steps; set the dose timer; and (if that’s not enough), you can alter the extraction by either volume or time. Sure, you can step in and take some control. However, I’d say pro baristas might feel limited in how much they can express themselves. But you can forget about all that nastiness – or at least that specific nastiness – with a hybrid machine like the Breville Oracle Touch. To ensure you always have the finest beans for your machine, consider subscribing to the best coffee subscription in the UK – Balance Coffee.

You can choose your desired milk temperature and texture, and the machine takes care of the rest. And the result is a creamy, velvety milk for my coffee. The Barista Touch has a water tank capacity of 250g, whilst Sage the Oracle Touch has a total of 280g. The Oracle Touch's automated cleaning cycle and maintenance reminder make keeping the machine in top condition much easier. In addition, the prompts for descaling, water filter replacement, and other necessary tasks have also been incredibly helpful. Sage Oracle Touch Pros and Cons Sound confusing? We agree. For a step-by-step on changing the coffee dose, watch this handy YouTube video. The Barista Touch has a capacity of 250g, whilst Sage Oracle Touch takes it a bit further with 280g capacity. • Group HeadThe Sage Barista Touch and the Oracle Touch are two of the most popular espresso machines available today, and they both have a lot to offer. Each machine has unique features that make it stand out, from intuitive controls to sleek design. Pop the portafilter in the grinder for it to grind and tamper it. Beware, the grinder is a little loud and takes its time, too.

The Sage Oracle Touch has several noteworthy features that caught our attention. Pre-Infusion FunctionThat’s why the Oracle Touch’s automatic dosing and tamping station is so appealing. Once you’ve selected a grind setting, you simply insert the portafilter into the grinding cradle and the machine takes care of the rest. Inveterate coffee tweakers will be pleased to see that you can fine-tune the brew temperature from 86c to 96c in one-degree increments – something Sage proudly claims the Oracle can maintain with +/-1℃ accuracy. However, you can’t tweak the amount of coffee used for each shot. You can have a 22g double or an 11g single, and that’s it. I’ve read online you can subtly tweak the dose by taking the automatic tamping hardware to pieces and reassembling it but this isn’t exactly the last word in on-the-fly adjustability. Sage Oracle Touch review: Verdict Listen, I’m not the biggest fan of built-in grinders. For starters, if the thing breaks, you’re out an espresso machine. Plus, as the machine heats up the grinder becomes less stable, and grind settings can shift. To top it all off, a built-in grinder can make a lot of mess. Its outer and inner surfaces are made of brushed stainless steel, with a water tank capacity of 250g. The Oracle Touch is a great espresso machine that consistently offers great coffee with various customisable settings. Its automated grinding, tamping, and milk frothing simplify the process while still allowing for manual adjustments to fine-tune your coffee experience. Can you manually steam milk with Oracle Touch?
